     Angel Locsin follows the footsteps of Kris Aquino by volunteering her name and popularity for a cause.  In 2004, Kris Aquino volunteered to endorse Aquilino Pimentel in a TV ad without compensation. Like Kris, Angel volunteered to be the TV ad spokesperson for Pimentel. According to Angel, she believes that Pimentel is the best candidate to promote the interests of the youth and pursue lasting peace in Mindanao.
